Progressive Download

Progressive Download is a method of playing part of a media file while the rest of it is still downloading, this differs from true streaming as it almost eliminates buffering without compromising on quality. The disadvantage is that it often requires a delay at the start of playback. Sometimes called Pseudo Streaming.
